Small Things are Big Things

We do a lot of things everyday. We don't realize that we are a part of a cycle. This cycle is what the world wants us to experience in life. We need to overcome this, how you might ask? Through the simple, Random Acts of Kindness trick.

A Random Act of Kindness, is an when a person does something nice at random. This can range from giving 5PHP to a beggar to lending someone a pen. As someone who is a part of society, doing these acts encourages us to become a good member of society. We empower the people to work together and we indirectly tell those who are victims of poverty that they are part of our society and that society in which they are a part of is willing to help them.

What Random Acts of Kindness should you try?

Here's a really small list:
  • Give money to a beggar.
  • Give food to the hungry
  • Help someone lift something
  • Correct someone who is wrong
  • Citizen's Arrest
  • Save someone
  • Cook food for you mom/dad/siblings
  • Compliment someone
When we try, sometimes we'll be shy. It's all about turning it into a habit. Try doing something for one month straight and your body and mind will get used to the mentality that you do that something everyday. It's like going to the gym, but with more kindness. Remember that the one receiving kindness doesn't even need to be a human; Saved a puppy once, now I have a dog. Another thing to remember is that the small things are the most important things.

So what if do these?

Beside what I have already stated before, you will feel good inside. We look for happiness everywhere and what happiness that you feel when you do good will always remain an amazing sensation. This can even be your ticket into fame, 'Nicest Person'... sounds good doesn't it?
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle" -Plato
"Do unto others 20% better than you would expect them to do unto you, to correct for subjective error." -Linus Pauling
There is no limit to kindness. The happiness is enough to keep you from stopping, just don't forget to be kind to yourself too.
